Happy Mother's Day!

Before I get into the crafty part of this blog, I wanted to share one of the best "Happy Mother's Day" pictures my friends shared on facebook:

Awwww!!   How sweet!   (Bwahahahahaaa!!!)

That said, this afternoon, we'll be going to Mark's parents house to visit and celebrate Mother's Day.

So this morning, I headed over to Pinterest, saw this:

and decided to make a bracelet for my mother in law.

Getting out all the supplies and potential pieces.

My beads all laid out in the 'design' phase.

The finished bracelet:  square wooden beads, hemp, silk thread and metal focal piece/ clasp (:

I will mention that if you're going to work with square beads, do NOT press them tightly together.  They need a little bit of space between them or they're not going to be want to bend around a wrist. (:

I hope she likes it!!
